Fun Fact: The name of the restaurant is after the owner’s brother, who died in the Vietnam war. By doing this, David, the owner of the Uptown Cafe, keeps his brother’s memory alive. He also provides live entertainment as Jack was a musician and a songwriter before he enlisted as a soldier for the U.S. Army.

Spend an intimate date with your other half in this floating restaurant just along with the Branson Landing shopping and entertainment district. The House serves a wide variety of fish dishes but also includes burgers, pasta, steak, etc. on their menu. You shouldn’t miss the Ozarks Trout Almondine and the Brown Sugar-Glazed Salmon— two of their best-selling signature dishes.

The restaurant is decorated with wooden rafters and hanging canoes to represent a theme based on Lake Taneycomo, which is the overlooking view of  White River Fish House through its floor to ceiling glass windows. An Instagrammable scenery is perfect from the restaurant’s point of view. Classy!
